Duly filled in Applications are being invited from Indian Nationals for the following positions in UP Police through prescribed application forms which can be purchased from designated Post Offices in all the districts of UP :

• Sub-Inspector Civil Police : 3698 posts (UR-1849, OBC-998, SC-777, ST-74),
• Platoon Commander (Provincial Armed Constabulary - PAC) : 312 posts (UR-156, OBC-84, SC-66,ST-6)

Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

Age : 21-28 years as on 01/07/2011. Relaxation in age as per norms.

Qualification : Graduate.

Selection by a Written Test, Physical test and followed by an interview.

Application Form : Prescribed OMR application forms and information details can be purchased from all Main/ Head Post Offices in all the districts (total 131 ) of UP from up to 25/06/2011 on payment of Rs.50/-

Application Details : Duly filled in Application forms should be submitted in the same post offices from where the form was purchased till 5.00 pm 25/06/2011.
